Browser Compatibility

Sometimes if you use java or image maps then you have to make sure that they work on both the major browsers, Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator. Lots of times different java applications do not work on both browsers and image maps generally do not work best with Netscape. If your site is not compatible with both browsers then make another version of the page for the viewers with the other browser. Or just simplify your page a bit so that it works on both. The more famous browser of the two is Internet Explorer since it is shipped with Windows. Also the version of the browser is also important, if you have a JavaScript on your site that is only supported by the newest Internet Explorer that just came out, most people will not have the newest one immediately and will not be able to see your page as it was meant to be seen.
